Me and some friends are making a machinima for halo 2/3, and we're making the website for our group, Squashed Toad Productions. Got Halo 3 myself now, so... um... yeah.

Before you actually advertise your machinima, maybe you should wait for the answer to your question: can you advertise your own machinima?

Okay, now heres what the problem is. We have script and such going on, but we need some advice on how to get the recording onto computer from 360 to edit. Any ideas?

Organisational problems means that we won't be able to air our Machinima November 1st. Damn. That's the last you'll hear of it until December.

I suggest going over to Freewebs.com. That's where we first started with our website. Then if you want, you can get an actual domain name like "yournamehere.com" (that costs monies).

Right now, we're using Microsoft Office Live for the website, but since we came in while they were doing the BETA, we don't have to pay for our domain name. They've since started charging new members for the domain names. Plus, it takes quite a bit of work if you want to make it look as good as our site is now.

Another place you can try other than Freewebs is Synthasite.com. I hardly know anything about how their website editor works, but Kevin recently used it to make a little Lemon Man website which came out pretty decent.

Anyway, try Freewebs.com first, then if you don't like it, try SynthaSite.com. Hope that helps!

To make matters even more interesting for us, we've decided to not bother with using Halo 2, and we're using Halo 3 exclusively. However, we do have some footage from using Halo 2, so maybe I'll stick our "bloopers" on youtube and show you guys, just so I can prove that we're actually making this Machinima.

But that has nothing to do with Squashed Toad Productions. Sorry for wasting your precious time.
