The Deal with YouTube

Our Marlin videos are being taken down from YouTube because of a deal that fell through between YouTube and Warner Music Group:

YouTube Blog:

Sometimes, if we can't reach acceptable business terms, we must part ways with successful partners. For example, you may notice videos that contain music owned by Warner Music Group being blocked from the site."

So at this point, expect all the Marlin videos to go away for good on YouTube However, we're working on getting all of them up to our site. We will be updating the links on our video page as we get more of them up. You can start checking them out now in our Video Archive section. New Marlins will begin as usual in February, and we will upload them to YouTube, the only difference is that we'll be using almost (if not all) original or royalty-free music so that this doesn't happen again. Sorry about all this guys.

omg...it's such a miracle that you have a backup website with the videos man... I almost suffered lol. I miss not listening to the arguments in the episode of marlin the elite "reunion."

Well...actually...I didn't. When I saw that they were taking the videos down, I worked like crazy getting them up. Season 3 will be on there eventually. Right now were working on Season 4.

Ep.28, (my favorite) has no audio!
I need audio on that episode, the director guy is way to hilarious!

Got good news guys! Most of the old Marlin episodes are coming back to YouTube!

I recently found out that you can dispute the copyright claim with the Fair Use Copyright Act. It says the following:

Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.

So once you do that, and if it applies to the video, they will bring the audio back! Yea! All of Season 1 is back up as well as eps. 11 & 12. I'll be getting to the rest within the next few weeks.
