Halo: The Cole Protcol

I just got this book today (Nov. 26) and I am at page 268 of 360 or something, and it is GREAT! Not action packed, but adds storyline, detail, and, dare I say it, character development. Alot of old faces make reapperances in this book as well as some new ones. I also just learned that the Spartan on the cover of the book is wearing Mark IV armor (at first i mistook it as an ODST, then a Mark VI spartan).

I read that book. it was awesome.

You say that it is "GREAT!" and yet you only give it an 8.5 out of 10. Hmmm.

The reason it only got an 8.5 instead of, say, a 9 is because of 2 major things
1)Not enough fighting
2)Ending

Normally, this is not Bungie's book style. To introduce a character (in this case, Ignatio Delgado), give his life story, then not explain his fate, besides joining the UNSC. So if another (7th) book comes out, and it revolves around Grey Team/Ignatio, then this book's score would raise from an 8.5 to a 9.5. Until then, it will have to stay.

Yeah, and this is my 3rd favorite author of the Halo book series. (My first two being Eric Nylund and Joe Staten) I just hope, yet again, that at least 2 more books come out about the following.
1)Spartan Grey Team
2)Master Chief after Halo 3
