Heyyyyy. I'm back. Ish.

Me and some friends are making a machinima for halo 2/3, and we're making the website for our group, Squashed Toad Productions. Got Halo 3 myself now, so... um... yeah.

We'll send you the link when the site is really up and running. Should be able to partner up

Before you actually advertise your machinima, maybe you should wait for the answer to your question: can you advertise your own machinima?

How's this: you can put a link in your signature but don't actually say in one of your posts "oh and click her 2 c my machinima!!!!"

Here's the low-down. It's okay to promote your machinima, but only in the appropriate forum (this one). In addition, feel free to put a link to it in your signature if you wish.

1) We're hoping that we can make it a comedy, but if that fails, we're going to make it a serious, kind of mid-war thing.

Okay, now heres what the problem is. We have script and such going on, but we need some advice on how to get the recording onto computer from 360 to edit. Any ideas?

And has anyone got any good ideas on how to make a website? By that, I mean a good thing that makes sites; much like this site.

Organisational problems means that we won't be able to air our Machinima November 1st. Damn. That's the last you'll hear of it until December.

Do you have a TV Capture Card? My friend got us one off Ebay.

I suggest going over to Freewebs.com. That's where we first started with our website. Then if you want, you can get an actual domain name like "yournamehere.com" (that costs monies).

Right now, we're using Microsoft Office Live for the website, but since we came in while they were doing the BETA, we don't have to pay for our domain name. They've since started charging new members for the domain names. Plus, it takes quite a bit of work if you want to make it look as good as our site is now.

Another place you can try other than Freewebs is Synthasite.com. I hardly know anything about how their website editor works, but Kevin recently used it to make a little Lemon Man website which came out pretty decent.

Anyway, try Freewebs.com first, then if you don't like it, try SynthaSite.com. Hope that helps!

SynthaSite was easier to use than freewebs.

To make matters even more interesting for us, we've decided to not bother with using Halo 2, and we're using Halo 3 exclusively. And again, thank you all for looking! I've got a capture device thing working, so Videos will start coming some time. It will take a while, mainly because it's stuck on black and white lol. Honestly, it's great that you have all taken an interest in this. When the members area get some more stuff inside it, I'll give you guys the way to get in.
