I've never been interested in Gears Of War before, but this trailer... I'm not sure anymore, it looks good.

I'm pretty excited. I really liked both Gears 1 and 2, and I'm glad they're starting the hype for this game a whole year early. It should sell really big.

The only time I enjoyed Gears was GoW2 Online with a bunch of friends, it was like a deathmatch thing, but everyone had one life. Anyway, All you do is hide. shoot.....hide again......shoot...get a kill....yessss.....

I felt that Gears 1 had a lack of plot (and I had to have a friend later explain exactly what happened in the story), but Gears 2 fleshed out a little more of the back story, which was good. I hope Gears 3 does just as good a job.

I agree that Gears 1 wasn't that great, but Gears 2 turned out good. Give it a go.

Ugh, I don't know why, maybe it's because I prefer games with a war to be an FPS instead of a TPS. I like games like Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, and Dead Space. There's shooting and it's over-the-shoulder. Maybe that's why I don't like Gears. The Plot, gameplay, characters...
